To promote the South West Group as a key stakeholder in the decision-making processes that affect the growth and sustainable development of the South Metropolitan Region of Perth.

OBJECTIVES

  • Effective influence upon State and Commonwealth policy and funding decisions impacting on the region

 

STRATEGIES

  • Promote an awareness of the South West Group and its region to key stakeholders
  • Advocate and present to State and Commonwealth ministers, local members of parliaments and senior government officers  issues of regional, national and international significance
  • Maintain and widely distribute regional profiles, local industry databases and opportunity profiles
  • Seek representation on key bodies that have an influence on the future and well being of the South Metropolitan Region of Perth
