Industry Direct

Industry Direct is designed to help local businesses to share in the opportunities offered by the development of the multi-million dollar offshore and marine construction facility, the Australian Marine Complex, at Cockburn Sound, Western Australia and to secure work from the defence sector.

The Industry Direct network is primarily based on a sophisticated web site featuring an online business register but extends to events such as workshops and business breakfasts.

 

Industry Direct is a free service established principally for:

  • Fabrication 
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • and related supply companies, based in the local government areas of Fremantle, Melville, East Fremantle, Cockburn, Kwinana and Rockingham

 

Established by the South West Group, with financial support from the Commonwealth Government, the project is sponsored and administered by the South West Corridor Development Foundation (SWCDeF) Inc.

Industry Direct is at www.industrydirect.com.au and currently contains details of 1,480 businesses in the South West Corridor.
